SPLC-Inspired Terror Attack Survivor Demands Justice, DOJ Indicts Controversial Group
A survivor of a terror attack, fueled by the Southern Poverty Law Center’s (SPLC) “hate group” designations, is demanding justice and restitution. The attack, which left a man shot in the lobby of the Family Research Council (FRC) in 2012, is now at the center of renewed scrutiny for the SPLC.
Floyd Lee Corkins II, the shooter, admitted his motive stemmed from SPLC’s online lists of “anti-gay groups.” He believed the FRC and even Chick-fil-A were targets worthy of violence.
