FBI Raids Soros-Funded Voter Group Amidst Fraud Probe – Is This Election Integrity or Political Weaponization?

The OOC, a nonprofit closely aligned with the Democratic Party in Ohio, is a significant player in voter mobilization and registration, particularly for ballot referendums. Its extensive donor network includes major liberal philanthropic organizations, notably the Soros family’s enterprises.

Recent tax documents reveal the OOC generated over $10 million in revenue in 2024. Its substantial financial backing comes from prominent Democratic-aligned donors like the Soros family philanthropies, New Venture Fund, the Tides Foundation, and major unions such as the American Federation of Teachers and the Service Employees International Union. Specifically, the Foundation to Promote Open Society provided roughly $1.9 million to OOC between 2019 and 2020, with Open Society Action Fund contributing an additional $2 million in 2021 and 2023 to its sister organization.
