Rep. Sewell Slams ActBlue Foreign Donation Probe as GOP ‘Retribution Against Black Women’

For Sewell, the investigation targeting ActBlue and its CEO, Wallace-Jones, is clearly tainted. She asserts it’s part of a pattern of investigations against Black women who have previously challenged or opposed Donald Trump.

“This investigation is just one more example of Republicans and President Trump using the power of his office to harass and intimidate anyone willing to challenge him,” Sewell declared. “The Trump Department of Justice has consistently used its power to intimidate and victimize communities of color, especially Black Americans.”
