Trump Endorses MAGA Champion Mike Collins in Crucial Georgia Senate Runoff

While Republicans contend for their party’s nomination, Senator Ossoff has amassed a substantial war chest, potentially giving him a significant fundraising advantage in the general election. Meanwhile, Trump’s influence within the GOP is also being tested in Georgia’s gubernatorial runoff, where Trump-backed Lt. Gov. Burt Jones is competing for the Republican nomination against businessman Rick Jackson.

Trump’s endorsement power has been a dominant force in recent GOP primaries, leading to the ousting of incumbents he targeted. However, his endorsement streak faced a setback two weeks ago when his late backing of Iowa Rep. Randy Feenstra in a gubernatorial race was unsuccessful. Despite this, Trump saw a rebound last week with his endorsed candidate, Lt. Gov. Pamela Evette, winning the South Carolina GOP gubernatorial primary. Additionally, long-time Trump ally Senator Lindsey Graham secured a majority vote in his Senate primary in South Carolina, avoiding a runoff.
